Nordjyllands Amt (English North Jutland County) is a county (Danish, amt) on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. It is the largest county in Denmark, but has a relatively low population. The county seat is Aalborg, the fourth largest city of Denmark. On January 1 2007, the county will be abolished and become part of Region Nordjylland (i.e. Region North Jutland).
