The debut album by I Am Kloot was released to much eagerness by the British music press in 2001 and for good reason. Although reaching the low chart placing outside the top 100 the band managed to build up a dedicated and loyal fanbase by endless touring and promoting in support of Natural History. The album itself is viewed as their best work to date and even the band have admitted that of all the releases it is this album that continues to sell consistently compared with their other work. The reason for this is down to its simple, stark and bold approach to songs. It is in fact the only album by the band that fitted into the New Acoustic Movement of Britain during the late 90's and into the 00's.
