Nanticoke is a small village in Haldimand County, Ontario that supplies electric energy to southern Ontario through its Nanticoke Generating Station. Nanticoke is surrounded by the Nanticoke Industrial Park which is home to the Esso Refinery, Stelco Lake Erie Works and the Nanticoke Generating Station. The mayor of Haldimand County is Marie Trainer. The village is located southeast of Simcoe in Norfolk County and southwest of Niagara Falls.
