is the Japanese holding company for Namco and Bandai. The new entity was founded on September 29th 2005. Bandai officially purchased Namco but both companies continue to operate independently and share equal powers within the new corporation. Bandai is currently the world's third largest producer of toys, and also owns Sunrise, a Japanese animation company. Namco is primarily a video game developer based in Japan.
