Murder at the Vanities is a 1934 film released by Paramount Pictures directed by Mitchell Leisen, starring Carl Brisson, Jack Oakie, Kitty Carlisle, and Gertrude Michaels, and featuring Duke Ellington and his band. The film is a musical, based on Earl Carroll's Vanities, combined with a murder mystery. Songs include Cocktails for Two and "Sweet Marijuana".
