Mount Leuser (3404m) is the tallest mountain in the Indonesian semi-autonomous region of Aceh.
The Gunung Leuser National Park protects the mountain and its surrounding ecosystems.
The area surrounding Mount Leuser was declared part of the UNESCO Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra World Heritage Site in 2004.
