Morgagni's hernia is a hernia through small congenital defects in the anterior diaphragm (the foramina of Morgagni). Most hernias occur on the right side and are asymptomatic, although sometimes there is some epigastric discomfort.

On chest x-ray, a Morgagni's hernia appears in the anterior mediastinum.
