Montignac is a town and commune in the Dordogne département of France, situated on the Dordogne River.

It has a beautiful old bridge, on which, every summer, the small festival is held, with fireworks.

A market is apparent every Sunday; it can get a bit crowded in the town.

Several stray dogs wander around, but don't worry; the animals are very friendly.
