The Miss Louisiana Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Louisiana in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

Louisiana are ranked fifth overall in terms of the number and value of placements across all twenty-three years of competition They are one of only seven states to have placed in the semi-finals (or better) on more than ten occasions [http://www.pageant-almanac.com/miss-teen-usa/who-has-the-most.php.

Three notable Miss Louisiana Teen USAs are Ali Landry, Shelley Hennig. Landry was a semi-finalist at Miss Teen USA 1990, but went on to win the Miss Louisiana USA title and the Miss USA title in 1996. Hennig won the Miss Teen USA crown in 2004.

Landry is one of three Louisiana teens to win the Miss Louisiana USA title. One of those was Jennifer Dupont, a Triple Crown winner. Dupont and one other teen competed at Miss America.
