Microsoft Expression is a suite of graphics programs from Microsoft aimed at developers and designers. It consists of three products:
- Microsoft Expression Interactive Designer (code-named Sparkle)
- Microsoft Expression Graphic Designer (code-named Acrylic)
- Microsoft Expression Web Designer (code-named Quartz)
Microsoft introduced Expression on 16 September 2005 at Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles. Expression was originally developed by Fractal Design Corporation as a vector-based companion to Fractal Design Painter, now Corel Painter.
