Microsoft Dynamics is the next generation software for business solutions made by Microsoft. It was previously known by the codename of Project Green. It replaces the current family of Microsoft Business Solutions, through the release of two product "waves." The first wave began in 2005, and the second wave is expected to begin in 2008.
Microsoft Dynamics comprises the following software:
- Customer relationship management
- Enterprise resource planning
- Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta)
- Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains)
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision)
- Microsoft Dynamics SL (formerly Solomon)
