Methven Castle is situated east of Methven, in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Part of it dates from 1680. It was built on the site of a previous castle which was the place of death of Margaret Tudor, the sister of Henry VIII of England. The castle was once owned by the Smythe family; the present owner made money from running the Stagecoach bus company.
