Menopause The Musical debuted March 28 2001 in a small theatre in Orlando, Florida. The 76-seat theatre once housed a perfume shop. The cast of four women shopping for lingerie at a Bloomingdale's sale sing 25 songs about chocolate cravings, hot flashes, loss of memory, nocturnal sweats and sexual predicaments. The lyrics parody hits from the baby boomer era.

Menopause the musical is now touring through out Australia. With it's original cast starting in Melbourne there are now two cast touring. The Perth cast, consisting of Caroline Gilmer (Power Woman), Jenny Vuletic (Soap Star), Sussan-ann Walker (Earth Mother)and Donna Lee (Dubbo Housewife) and the Brisbane cast staring Jodie Gillies (Power Woman), Anne Wood (Soap Star), Carolyn Waddell (Earth Mother) and Angela Ayers (Dubbo Housewife.

"Menopause: The Musical" is also playing at Society Hill Playhouse in Philadelphia and Syracuse Stage in Syracuse.
