Mengen' is a town in the Bolu province in Turkey famous for its cooks. Annually a Mengen Cooking Festival of Chefs takes place. It is 58 km from Bolu and 172 km from Ankara. According to a 2000 census, the population of Mengen and its surrounding amounts to 16,504 people.
