The Meadows and Lake Kathleen railroad is on 41 acres near Deadwood, Oregon. While maybe not the most perfect railroad in the world, it is one of the greenest and most beautiful partially due to the average 90+ inches of rain it receives….hence the 3 creeks with trout populations and the 14 year-round springs. Owners Ray and Kathy Robinson have spent the last 10 years with help from friends putting the railroad together. The M&LK RR currently consists of 4 bridges, 4 trestles, a tunnel and a watertower in just over 4,600 feet of 18 inch gauge track. The railroad will eventually form a 6,000+ foot loop with four sidings, a few spurs and a balloon track. *
