McGhee Tyson Airport is an airport located in Alcoa, Tennessee, approximately 12 miles (19 km) south of downtown Knoxville. The airport is named for Navy pilot McGhee Tyson, lost on patrol in World War I.

It also serves as a base for the 134th Refueling Group, part of the Tennessee Air National Guard. They fly KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft for aerial refueling of military aircraft. Adjacent to the Mcghee Tyson Air National Guard Base is the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment Army Aviation Support Facility which operates several OH-58 Kiowa Warrior helicopters.

The airport has public Wi-Fi available provided by T-Mobile.

McGhee Tyson Airport covers 2,250 acres and has two runways:
  • Runway 05L/23R: 9,005 x 150 ft. (2,745 x 46 m), Surface: Concrete
  • Runway 05R/23L: 9,000 x 150 ft. (2,743 x 46 m), Surface: Asphalt
