Mark Leonard is a British foreign policy thinker and the author of the book Why Europe Will Run the 21st Century. He is the director of The Foreign Policy Centre and the director of foreign policy at the London-based Centre for European Reform.

He writes monthly for The Observer's World View section and regularly in other publications.
