The Maine Mall is a suburban single-story shopping mall located in South Portland, Maine near Portland, the state's largest city.

Its anchor tenants are Macy's, JC Penney, Sears, The Sports Authority, Linens 'n Things, and Best Buy.

Jordan Marsh opened in 1968 and was soon expanded to create the Maine Mall. The Mall itself opened in 1971, beginning as an enclosed super regional mall with Sears and Jordan Marsh. Since first opening, the mall has been renovated twice, in 1989 and 1994. It has a gross leasable area of 1,054,030 square feet and 5,895 parking spaces. With 140 stores and 18 restaurants, it is by far the largest mall in the state. The expansion in 1984 included more stores - Filene's, Porteous and JCPenney. Lechmere was added in 1993 and closed in 1997, replaced by Best Buy and David's Bridal. Porteous, a regional chain, closed in the end of 1994 and was rebuilt as a Sports Authority (on the upper level) and Filene's Home (on the lower) in 1997. Woolworth's closed with the rest of the chain, also in 1997, was replaced by Linens 'n Things in 1999. Filene's and Filene's Home closed in 2006 as part of the merger with Macy's. Recently it was announced that Best Buy and David's Bridal will move out of the mall and into a new building across the street formerly the Maine Mall Cinemas.

The Maine Mall is the largest mall in the state. As such, it has become an attraction for people from other parts of northern New England. The owners, General Growth Properties Inc., with few exceptions, only permit nationally-known retailers to lease space in the mall.
