Lupus pernio is a chronic hardened raised lesion of the skin, often purplish in color. Resembles frostbite as it is seen on ears, cheeks lips, nose, hands, fingers, and forehead. Most often associated with sarcoidosis. Microscopically, it resembles Lupus vulgaris.
