Lunacon is an annual science fiction/fantasy convention organized by the New York State Science Fiction Society better known as The Lunarians. Commonly, it is held the third weekend of March. It is similar to conventions like Arisia, I-CON and WorldCon. The programming consists of a mix of all things fannish including anime, panel discussions on a variety of topics, filk music, crafts workshops, an art show and auction, a game room and a large Masquerade.

2006 Lunacon


This year's Lunacon occurred March 17-20, 2006 in the Hasbrouck Heights Hilton. It was generally considered to go off well, unlike the year before, at a different hotel, considering that the hotel was still under renovation. This was the 49th lunacon.
