The Lullubi were an ancient group of tribes that inhabited the Sharazor plain in Iraqi and Iranian Kurdistan in the Zagros Mountains of Western Iran and northern Iraq. They were a warlike people, especially active during the reign of Naram-Sin, who apparently subjugated them. Later they regained their independence, helping to bring an end to the Akkadian Empire, and resumed their harassment of Southern Mesopotamia.

The Lullubi are known for having fought wars with the Akkadians around 2300-2200 B.C. Today a Kurdish clan is known as Lullu and may be a possible derivation of the ancient Lullubi*.
