In 1842 Lepsius visited Lower Egypt and made a list* Lepsius-Projekt. Retrieved June 07, 2006.. of the pyramids that he found there. They are number from north to south, starting at Abu Rawash in the north. Some of these structures have later proved to not by true pyramids.
