Larry Kaplan is an American video game designer. Initially worked at Atari and was responsible for a lot of their sales. Due to the lack of recognition for his work, he left Atari and became one of the five co-founders of Activision.

He is best known for his Atari 2600 creation, Kaboom!. The game was published by Activision in 1981.
