Larry Brown, Jr. (born November 30, 1969 in Miami, Florida) is a former American football cornerback in the NFL. He was the Super Bowl MVP of Super Bowl XXX. His two interceptions lifted the Dallas Cowboys to their third Super Bowl in four seasons. Brown was a cornerback on all three championship teams. He attended Texas Christian University.
After the game, Brown was a free agent and used his award to gain a large contract from the Oakland Raiders. Though Brown had 10 interceptions in the previous two seasons, he had only one in 1996, and played poorly for his entire tenure with the Raiders. The Raiders released him after 1 year into his contract and he was resigned for the 1998 season by the Cowboys.
Brown retired after the 1998 season with 14 career interceptions, which he returned for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also recorded 2 fumble recoveries.
