Kyunghee University (Kyung Hee University) is a private university in South Korea. It is located in Seoul, with a second campus in the suburban city of Suwon. It has one of the most well-established college of Traditional Korean medicine in South Korea.
- Also, the famous Korean singer Shim Chang Min of the Korean band Dong Bang Shin Gi (TVXQ) is accepted to go there this year as well. (2006)

- 1949. 05 Registered Shinheung Junior College Establishment in Seoul
- 1952. 12 Promoted to 4 year College
- 1955. 02 Elevated to University
- 1965. 04 Undertook College of Oriental Medicine
- 1971. 10 Opened Kyunghee Medical Center
- 1973. 12 Established East-West Medical Research Center
- 1978. 06 Opened the first Museum of Natural History in Asia
- 1984. 09 Obtained terrain estate for the Kwangnung Campus and established Graduate Institute of Peace Studies
- 1993. 12 The first educational institute to receive a UNESCO Prize for Peace Education Award
- 1997. 04 The Kyunghee Astronomical Observatory, the first in the nation to discover a variable star (later named as Kyung Hee Star)
- 1998. 12 Kyunghee Medical Center succeeded in cloning the world’s first human somatic cell.
- 1999. 10 The Grand Peace Palace opened; hosted Asia Cultural Art Festival
