Aleksander Ostrogski Date of Birth 1526 Place of Birth Ostróg Date of Death February 13, 1608 Place of Death Ostróg Konstanty Wasyl Ostrogski (1526-13 February 1608) was a Lithuanian prince, starost of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Marshal of Volhynia and voivode of Kijów Voivodship, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Married on January 1553 in Tarnów. Refused to help False Dmitriy I. Supporter of Jan Zamoyski.

In 1570s he waged war against another magnate, Stanisław Tarnowski, about disputed possession of estates in the area of Tarnów. Among Ostrogski's private army were units of the Tatars.
