Komeley Jiyanewey Kurd, the Kurdish name for the "Kurdish Renaissance League" which was founded in 1942. It is the name of a Kurdish political group, which was instrumental in creation of Republic of Mahabad in 1946 under the leadership of Qazi Muhammad. Later the party changed its name into Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran.
