Knee taping (also known as patellar taping) is a procedure performed by physicians to treat knee injuries. Knee taping reduces pain and corrects patellar position to allow rehabilitation and the resuming of corrective exercises.

Evaluation

The knee is first inspected by a physician to determine if taping is necessary.
