Klamath National Forest is a 1,726,000 acre national forest in northern California, with a tiny extension into Oregon. The forest contains continuous stands of ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, Douglas fir, red fir, white fir and incense cedar. Old growth forest is estimated to cover more than 175,000 acres of the forest land.
