Kingston Technology Co. is an US-american producer of memory products. It is located in Fountain Valley, California.

It is the biggest independent producer of Flash Memory.

History

• 1987 (17th October) Foundation with one only product (Founders: John Tu and David Sun)
• 1995 First European Branch in Munich (Germany). European Headquarters is in Sunbury, England. Asian headquarters is in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Manufacturing facilities in California, Ireland, Shanghai, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Shen Zhen.

Sales in 2005 broke $3 billion USD for the first time. Largest independent memory manufacturer in the world. Arguably second largest supplier of flash memory.

Kingston Technology has 2.400 employees (2004) and a sale of $2.4 billon USD. Second iSupply the sale will rise about 35 % and the company governs 27 % of available products.
