Katie Jackson (born 1996) is the daughter of film director Peter Jackson and his wife, screenwriter and producer Fran Walsh. She has had cameo appearances in four of her parents' films, being a young hobbit in The Fellowship of the Ring (film) (2001), a Rohan refugee in The Two Towers (film) (2002) and a Gondorian child in The Return of the King (film) (2003), as well as a brief cameo as a little girl in the opening scenes of King Kong. In the three Lord of the Rings films, she appeared alongside her older brother, Billy, while in King Kong, his scene preceded hers.
