Kathmandu University Medical School (KUMS) is one of the undergraduate schools of Kathmandu University. It is located in Kavrepalanchwok, Nepal. The school was founded by Dr.Arjun Karki and established in 2001. KUMS has about 221 students in the M.B.B.S. program. The school is a non-profit organization with a motto or producing "Techinically competent and socially responsible" doctors. The main focus of the organization is to improve the health status of Nepal. So, it is the only medical school in the world to admit Nepalese students exclusively.
