Joyce Compton (January 27, 1907 - October 13, 1997), born Eleanor Hunt in Lexington, Kentucky was a film actress from the 1920s through the 1950s. The actress was known for playing attractive "dumb" blonde roles. Notable films include The Awful Truth and the film noir drama Mildred Pierce.
