Joachim "Jogi" Löw (* 3 February 1960 in Schönau im Schwarzwald, Lörrach) is the coach of the German national football team.

Löw started his playing career with Freiburg. In his career, he played with on 3 separate occasions spanning from 1978 to 1989.Stuttgart

Coaching
Löw started his coaching career as a youth coach for FC Winterthur.On 1 August 2004 he became assistant coach of Germany, under Jürgen Klinsmann. Both had played for VfB Stuttgart. During Klinsmann's two year reign, Löw was regarded as the tactician of the team. On 12 July 2006, following Klinsmann's decision to not renew his contract after the 2006 World Cup, Löw was named as the new head coach of Germany.

Success
He led VfB Stuttgart to a win in the DFB-Pokal in 1997 and the finals of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1998. In 2002 he led FC Wacker Tirol to the Austrian championship.
In 2006, assisting Jürgen Klinsmann, he led Germany to a 3rd place in World Cup 2006.
