James Lindberg (born July 26, 1965), better known as Jim Lindberg is the singer-songwriter for the California punk band Pennywise. Despite the criticism that Pennywise and others signed to Epitaph Records posed to punk band The Offspring, Lindberg sang background vocals for songs on The Offspring releases Americana (1998) and Splinter (2003). Because of the close relationship that Pennywise and labelmates Bad Religion have, Lindberg sang back-up vocals for their first release on Atlantic Records, 1994's Stranger Than Fiction. Jim is currently heading up Vans Records a record label started by Steve Van Doren owner of Vans Shoes.
