Jeff Allen Wilkins (born April 19, 1972 in Youngstown, Ohio) is an American football placekicker who currently plays for the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. He previously played for the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles and attended Youngstown State University. He held the record for most field goals in a season (39) until Neil Rackers did him one better on January 1, 2006.

High School Career


While attending Austintown Fitch High School in Austintown, Ohio, Wilkin won All-State honors at kicker and was also the starting quarterback.

College career


At Youngstown State University, Wilkins made a school record 66 field goals, with a long of 54 (another school record). He was also a punter, averaging 38 yards per punt.
