Jeff Nelson was the drummer for the hardcore punk rock band Minor Threat. He and Minor Threat bandmate Ian MacKaye founded and co-own Dischord Records. The duo also comprised the bands Egg Hunt and Skewbald/Grand Union; both bands recorded only one single. He has also played in the bands Three and High-Back Chairs. Nelson also founded Adult Swim Records in 1989.
