Jane Davidson (born 1957) is the Minister for Education, Lifelong Learning & Skills for the Welsh Assembly Government. She is the Assembly Member for Pontypridd and was originally appointed to the Cabinet on 16 October 2000. Davidson was previously an English teacher, a youth worker and an anti-poverty specialist as well as being an elected member of Cardiff City Council. She served as the Head of Social Affairs for the Welsh Local Government Association before her election to the Assembly. She is also the Welsh Vice-President of the Ramblers' Association.

Davidson studied at the University of Birmingham and then took a PGCE at the University of Wales. She lives in Gwaelod-y-Garth with her husband and three children.
