Just 12 miles northwest of Jackson, Wyoming is the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village, Wyoming. It is named after the Jackson Hole valley. The region is served by the Jackson Hole Airport.

The ski area is comprised of two mountains, Apres Vous and Rendezvous. The runs are 50% expert, 40% intermediate, and 10% beginner. Apres Vous Mountain has over 2100 vertical feet of elevation and is considered their intermediate mountain. Rendezvous Mountain has Jackson Hole's famous terrain that includes bowls, glades, and chutes. Jackson Hole's tram, which is to be retired in the fall of 2006, rises a 4,139 vertical feet in elevation to 10,450 feet. Other ski lifts include an 8-Passenger Gondola, high speed detachable and standard quad chairlifts, triple chairlifts, and a double chair.
