ɺ--82.42.163.65 17:43, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Jack Riley (born December 30, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a comedic actor probably most recognizable as the irascible Elliot Carlin from Bob Newhart's first TV sitcom, The Bob Newhart Show, and as the voice of Stu Pickles in Rugrats. He also voiced the character "PC Modem, the computer genius" in radio commericals for CompUSA that aired in the 1990s.

After attending John Carroll University and serving in the US Army, Riley became a popular radio personality in Cleveland. His friend Tim Conway helped him receive work in California writing comedy sketches, which later led to acting jobs.

He has performed in commercials, TV shows (often as a recurring character), and films.
