Ixtlilxochitl II was the son of Nezahualpilli, king of Texcoco. He was baptised by his godfather Hernán Cortés after Cortés converted him to Christianity. His baptised name was Hernando. He threatened the people of Texcoco, including his mother Yacotzin, to convert to Christianity or be killed. Supposedly he had light skin.
