Isaac Isidore Bruce (born November 10, 1972 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is an American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2nd round (33rd overall) in the 1994 NFL Draft. He went to Memphis State. He is one of the few players to achieve the goal of twelve thousand (12000) yards receiving. He is known for his fast first step, ability to change direction, and is considered the most precise route runner in the league. Bruce is one of the most respected receivers in the history of the NFL.

High School Career


Bruce attended Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale. As a senior, he caught 39 passes for 644 yards (16.51 yards per rec. avg.), was an All-City selection, and led his team to the 1989 Florida State 5A Championship.

College career


Bruce went to West Los Angeles Junior College, then to Santa Monica College before transferring to Memphis State in 1992, where he finished his career with 113 receptions for 1,586 yards (14.04 yards per rec. avg.) and fifteen touchdowns.
