Ireen Wüst (born April 1, 1986 in Goirle, The Netherlands) is a Dutch long track speed skater. At the European Speed Skating Championships in 2006 in Hamar she finished third. On February 12, 2006, the 19-year old Wüst won the gold medal in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games 3000-meter event. She is the youngest Dutch Olympic champion in Winter Games history.
