The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) is a labor union representing firefighters employed full-time in fire suppression and related activities in the United States and Canada. The IAFF was formed in 1918 and is affiliated with the AFL-CIO in the United States and the Canadian Labour Congress in Canada. Currently, the IAFF has about 272,000 members.
