Intelligent Creatures is a visual effects post-production company specializing in feature films with a fully integrated 2D & 3D pipeline. Intelligent Creatures is the result of a shared vision by four individual artists: Raymond Gieringer, Michael Hatton, Lon Molnar and Wendy Lanning.

The co-founders of Intelligent Creatures met while working in the Visual Effects Industry in Toronto, Ontario Canada, each of them holding senior positions, covering all aspects of visual effects production; visual effects supervision, digital compositing, 3D animation and production management.

Working closely together on projects such as The Cell, Panic Room and the Oscar™ winning Chicago, it was discovered they each had a common goal - to create an environment that inspires creativity, trust and collaboration while working with advanced technologies.

Officially opening its doors in 2003, Intelligent Creatures has attracted such clients as Miramax Films, MGM, New Line Cinema, and 20th Century Fox. IC’s portfolio spotlights the visual effects its partners set out to achieve.
