Inclusive Democracy is a political project developed by Takis Fotopoulos. It expresses a synthesis of the socialist and democratic traditions with the radical currents of the new social movements (ecological, feminist and other movements). It advocates direct democracy, economic and ecological democracy as well as the equal distribution of power on the 'micro level' ('democracy in the social realm'). Inclusive Democracy is promoted by the journal Democracy & Nature and its successor, The International Journal of Inclusive Democracy and the ID-Newsletter.
