Inc. magazine is a monthly magazine for entrepreneurs and small businesses. It also publishes an annual list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., the "Inc. 500". The magazine's website serves as a resource for entrepreneurs and also covers breaking small business news.
Purchased in 2005 by Morningstar founder, Joe Mansueto, Inc. and its sister magazine Fast Company constitute the publishing arm of Mansueto Ventures.
The magazine is now based in New York City, and run under the leadership of CEO John Koten and Editor Jane Berentson.
