Imagine FM is an Independent Local Radio station run by UTV Radio which broadcasts to the town of Stockport and the immediate surrounding area, just south of Manchester in the north west of England. It began as KFM and then became known as Signal Cheshire, before adopting its current name in 2000, when the Radio Partnership was taken over by the Wireless Group.
The transmitter is at Romiley near the Manchester-Sheffield railway line.
