Honorary Canadian Citizenship is an honor bestowed by the Parliament of Canada to foreigners of exceptional merit. As of June 22, 2006, three people have had this honor bestowed upon them.

• Raoul Wallenberg, Swedish diplomat and Holocaust hero, 1985 (Posthumously Awarded)
• Nelson Mandela, anti-apartheid activist and president of South Africa, 2001
• Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, 2006.
