The Holistic Project Process (HPP) was developed to expand the capabilities for the planning, design, communication, construction, marketing, and management of capital improvement projects. With the advent of Building Information Modeling various industries and associations have touted its benefits while not seeing the larger process in which BIM is one component. While BIM concentrates on the brick and mortar aspect, HPP addresses the flow of communication required to engage all stakeholders in the decision process.
